GM Swoosh has decided to spend a couple of days in... in Mexico!! That happened after publicly speaking about how surprised he was that sophomore and 2041 All-League SF, Jerome Huerta, this season was left out of the 2042 Rookie-Game

Apparently Huerta's season average of 8.7pt 7.3rbs while playing off the bench for the Mavs was not good enough. That's life I guess.,

GM Swoosh said to Carmen Cuevas, the mexican journalist from the magazine "Super Deportes", who was at the AS Weekend to talk about mexican player Jeremias de La Huerta (Jerome Huerta).





Carmen Cuevas: Que cabrones! Why don't they like Jeremias?

GM Swoosh:Well Carmensitta... I really cannot understand or explain why he didn't get the nod over SF Kenneth Brinson and SF Michael Priest, but you may rest assured that he will have a nice future in the league playing for the Portland Trailblazers.

Carmen Cuevas: Yeah riiight how may I "rest assured"?? I'm confused, pero... tell me, aren't you going to be busy travelling to Eastern Europe and to the South Pacific in the next few months?

GM Swoosh:Yeah that is the plan. You may rest assured Jerome Huerta will not be traded elsewhere, at least during the time the Trailblazers' position of General Manager is under my command.

Carmen Cuevas: Awww you're too nice chico... The mexican people would like El Swooshie to stay in Portland taking good care of our home-boy Jeremias... Please?

GM Swoosh:C'mon Carmen, don't make things hard for me.. not in front of the cameras... I can also take good care of Carmensita later tonight if you want...

The 23 yo celebrity look-a-like mexican star, Jerome Huerta, one of the greats from conf 29 college program, the San Jose Hammerheads, was @the game and he was seating by GM Swoosh. Here's what was said:

Jerome Huerta:I don't like playing at the 3 that's why I didn't want to play in this childs' game. El Swoosh knows what I'm capable of and I'm glad to represent Portland now.I'm a shot blocker, you got that gringo?

GM Swoosh: Calm down Jeremy-boy. Yup, that's right folks, I would like you to know that acquiring Huerta was probably one of my last moves as General Manager of the Portland Trailblazers and I'm confident to say this kid has a future in the league. I know him since the times he used to play in college for Portland's conf 29 rival, the San Jose Hammerheads. He is more suited to play inside the paint, just like he did in college and that's probably what will happen during the rest of this season. I try to respect the players' opinions and desires. Actually that's the exact same reason we have also added David Stroh to our roster. He's another kid from San Jose who has been unhappy playing out of position he told me. So there you have it, get ready for combo-guard Super-Stroh and the lean mean shot blocking machine Jerome J-boy Huerta!!

Jerome Huerta: Eh, Shoosh... tell'em about mi hermano Geronimo...

GM Swoosh: Oh right... Well... I'd like to let you know that Huerta's younger brother, Geronimo de La Huerta, has been impressing high school scouts and he might get the chance to play for Portland's college program. Another NBAD star from Mexico in the making? Who knows...

Jerome Huerta: You're in trouble boss! Lemme just make a phone call to invite a couple of cheerleaders and you might want us to join you. You have no idea what these gringas can do to you... You're never coming back to Portland now.

GM Swoosh: No worries J-boy. Life is all about making decisions kid. Going out on date with one hot chick, should be one of the easiest. You never know though, that's why we'll have to wait and see what happens.
